DESCRIPTION:In an age of deepfakes\, can we trust what we see? The short 
 answer is: NO!\n\nMisinformation and disinformation have reached high 
 levels of sophistication with the rise of generative AI. Developing 
 specific skills and habits to better navigate the world is a step in the 
 right direction.\n\nAttendees will learn how to:\n\n\n	SIFT: learn the 4 
 habits of digital discernment (theory)\n	Play Misinformation Jeopardy to 
 detect fake news (interactive practice)\n	Conduct reverse image searches 
 (media literacy tool)\n\n\nWorkshop Incentive Program: Any student who 
 attends a library workshop will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win 
 prizes. Raffle will be held at the end of every semester. This year's 
 prizes include: a Stonehill fleece blanket\, tote bag\, and other Stonehill 
 branded merch.
